Solid Low Brass wire for wire wrapping is hard to find. I had this batch custom made for my own wire wrapping projects. With a beautiful golden color, it is attractive enough for finished wire wrapping pieces, yet inexpensive enough for practice work.
This is my favorite metal to wire wrap in, I love the deep golden color.
The offer consists of
10 feet of round, 18 gauge, dead soft, solid Low Brass wire
This wire is solid, not plated. Since it is solid, the color will not rub or scratch off.
About Low Brass
Technically Jeweler's Bronze is a bronze alloy made from approximately 85% copper and 15% zinc. It contains
no
lead or nickel.
Low Brass is a bronze alloy. This bronze is called Low Brass to distinguish it from regular yellow brass which is referred to as High Brass . Low Brass also by the brand names NU Gold, and Merlin's Gold. It is referred to by the generic names Bronze, Jeweler's Bronze, and Red Brass. They are all the same metal - bronze.
Low Brass is easier to work with than brass (High Brass). Brass is much stiffer, and harder to bend. Low Brass does not tarnish but does oxidize very slowly to form an antique patina over time. In its highly polished state, Low Brass resembles 14K gold in color and shine.

Shipping Terms
All shipping is done by USPS First Class Mail (in the US), and USPS First Class International Airmail (outside the US). For larger orders, shipping may be automatically upgraded to USPS Priority Mail.
Orders are shipped within 3 business days of payment. For most orders in the US and Canada you should receive your order in 5 to 10 business* days from date of payment. (Anytime you order, it is best to allow up to 2 weeks for delivery.) Delivery time for orders outside the US and Canada may be longer or shorter, it varies by location.
Shipping times may be longer around major US holidays, especially the Christmas holiday season.
