    Description

This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage 1950s pattern to make doll clothes for your Mary Hoyer Doll. In addition, this pattern also fits a large variety of other dolls which have measurements approximately: 7 3/8" chest, 6" waist, and 7.5" hips. The Mary Hoyer doll measurements are very, very similar to those of the Betsy McCall 14" dolls and the 14" Toni dolls.
This pattern makes a Ballet or Ballerina Costume including Hat. A crocheted Skating Costume including the dress, panties, cap and mittens. A Pink Princess Dress with fancy gold trim. Sunsuit and Bonnet trimmed in lace. Slip/Petticoat and Panties. I include a color printout of the front cover, a black and white copy of the instructions, back cover and the complete pattern. Please email me with any questions that you have.

The Mary Hoyer Doll company started making her namesake dolls first in the 1930s out of composition, then in the 1940s & 50s out of hard plastic. These dolls were made in one size. Due to her popularity, patterns were made so that mothers and their daughters could make additional outfits for these darling dolls. The Mary Hoyer doll was made as a 14" doll. I have a large assortment of patterns available for these dolls.
This pattern was originally created June 16, 1950. The copyright for this pattern has expired and it entered the public domain Jan 1, 1979.
