Our 16 x 14 Cash Drawers provide affordable versatility to any POS system. It's designed to withstand the wear and tear of retail and restaurant applications. It has industry standard cash drawer kick-out RJ11 connector port and output 24VDC to activate the cash drawer release 24VDC Solenoid, which works with Epson and Epson Compatible POS receipt printers including Star, Citizen, Ithaca, Panasonic, Samsung, etc.

How does it work for pos system?
It's a Printer Driven cash drawer, so it only can be connected to receipt printer, not pos system or computer directly.
Your application(pos system) on computer or iPad sends the correct command to receipt printer, tells it to open the cash drawer.
The printer's driver is configured to open the cash drawer at the start or end of any printout.
Some of the pos systems contains the command, but others don't. Then we should go to set by the printer and check to see what options are available within the printer's driver.
