Anitque Corbel Salt Glaze Terre Cotta Vintage Architectural Salvage

Description

Unusual piece of history and striking in appearance.  It is in excellent condition for its age, with only a few fleabites and crazing throughout.  It is about 10" high and the top is 4 1/2" x 6 1/2".  It is heavy at 6.5 pounds.  The title says terre cotta, but I am unsure what the material is.  Looking into the back hanging holes it appears to have the characteristics of terre cotta, but I am not an expert.  Regardless, it is very old and has a wonderful finish and patina.
