    Description

    Description:
Beautiful Set of Architectural Hand Carved Drapery Swags that have that perfect weathered Primitive look.  The carving gives a lovely depth to the swag.  There is nice detail in the drapery and in the ropes.  I purchased these maybe 20 years ago from friends who had a French Antique shop in Coral Gables, FL who made quarterly trips to France to stock their store. These drapes would look great anywhere they were hung!  A real "decorator" find.  It's not often that you would find a design like this.  We think that they were used as adornments on a poster bed, dating to the early 1700's.
