These are brand new from Bunn black CDS faucet handle side pieces.  Each complete CDS handle is actually four separate parts -- a left side, a right side, a metal ring, and the black plastic ball on top.  It is not unusual for the handle sides to fatigue over time, for someone to pull too hard and break the handle, or for the handle to be dropped and broken or lost during cleaning or storage.  What breaks are the side pieces, but you still have a good metal ring and the black plastic ball.  Save yourself some money and buy just the parts needed to repair your broken handle.  With this purchase you will receive only the left and right plastic handle pieces -- you must have the black knob and metal ring to make a complete handle.
NOTE:  The CDS machines have been declared obsolete by Bunn fro several years, meaning they no longer support or guarantee parts availability.  We have purchased a stock of certain CDS parts, including handles, but when ours are gone it will be the end of finiding these parts.  You may want to consider buying a spare handle set for the future to keep your machine running.
To replace the broken sides unscrew the black ball and remove the metal ring.  Put the two new side pieces together, place your metal ring over the "stem" of the new side pieces, then screw on your black plastic ball.  You're ready to go in a couple of minutes at about half the price of a complete handle.  Each purchase includes one left side piece and one right side piece for a black CDS faucet handle -- you must supply the metal ring and black plastic ball to have a complete handle.  If you are missing these pieces we also sell the entire handle -- check our ebay store.
The technically correct way to install these handles is to disassemble them (unscrew the ball, remove the metal ring, separate the halves) then reassemble the parts around the dowel pin.  But, unless you are like "Mongo the Destroyer" (he breaks everything in our shop), you can carefully pull the ends of the handle apart just enough to slip over the faucet and the dowel pin.
