    Description

    This is a collectible, vintage sewing thread box made by Threads-Incorporated of Gastonia, N.C.  Currently the box is empty, but it would have contained 10 tubes with 2000 yards of sewing thread on each. Box of thread was most likely shipped for resale back in the 1930’s or 1940’s.
    Box is green with black and white lettering and graphics; it measures 11” x 5 ½” x 2 ¼.”  Condition is good, however corners are worn or torn in some places.  Box still has a great deal of integrity despite its age.
    This is a great piece from Gastonia’s textile history!
