    Description

    There are 91 wooden thread spools in this lot. Most of these are silk thread, some are cotton, one is linen.
    Most are Belding Brothers or Richardson's thread, with a few other makers. One is an Aunt Lydia's Buttonhole thread.
    The spools at the top, shown on their ends, have little or no thread left. These are along the top row in the first five photos. Some of the other spools scattered around have a small amount of thread left, as you can see.
    These are from around the end of the 19th through the early 20th century.
