Prices can be lowered with multiple purchases:
5% OFF each auction price for two auctions, 10% OFF each auction price for three auctions, and 15% OFF each auction price for four auctions. As always, I combine auctions whenever possible to get the lowest legal shipping rate. Wait for my invoice if you expect to win / buy more than one of my auctions.
This auction is for 31 partial spools of thread and the Glenfiddich tin box which they have resided in since the mid-1980’s or earlier.
28 spools are plastic and three are wooden (two J & P Coats and one Coats & Clark’s).
The box is not rusty and the lid works as intended. There are a few small scratches on the sides and a few tiny dents. The colors and images are not faded. On the gold-colored bottom in raised letters it says: “Manufactured by Barringer Wallis and Manners, makers of tin boxes since 1890; product of the United Kingdom.”
The vintage box with the vintage spools will be shipped in a vintage cardboard box, also from the mid-1980’s or earlier.
The Buy-It-Now price for this group of items is .
If you only want the box and plan to throw away the thread, let me know and I will donate them to the Humane Society Thrift Store
(if they want them). It is possible that would reduce the shipping charge, which would give you a partial refund.
SHIPPING
The buyer must pay for shipping. C
hoose the least-expensive option to your shipping zone, and
If a less expensive shipping option is offered when I buy the label, I will use that and quickly rebate any overpayment.
Any shipping discount I receive from eBay will be rebated
(see my feedbacks sent for examples).
Signature Confirmation is recommended if there is a chance that your package might be stolen.
I am not responsible for stolen items, only for delivery to your address. Message me before paying if interested in purchasing Signature Confirmation for . This auction is limited to delivery within the fifty States.
FEEDBACK
I leave feedback as soon as I’ve shipped the items, and my only concern is that the buyer pays within one week of the close of the auction. For single auction purchases, sending an invoice is an extra step that is unnecessary, so
please try to pay within four days of the auction’s closing
. If payment has not been made within four days of the auction’s close, I will send one invoice reminding the buyer that only three days remain in order to receive positive feedback from me. If payment has not been made within sixteen days, eBay will be automatically informed and your access to all sellers will be jeopardized.
