    Description

    I am selling a Japanese Netsuke figure.  I believe he may be a Samurai figure from the 1950's in resin.  I have heard various things-cold resin; alabaster stone resin (stone powder mixed with tree sap).  I honestly do not know the composition of this netsuke.  All I know is that I loved the detail when I purchased him.  His eyebrows took much effort and all of the detail in clothes.  I also liked the colors of the robes that he wears.  His eyes are inset and his mouth with teeth as well. 2" in height.   I am to an expert and I looked to find the artist but I have had no luck in finding this information out.  There are holes in the back of the figure to affix to the clothes of the owner.  If anyone has more information to share about this piece I would be more than welcome to learn!  The expression is  really great to me.  Free shipping!
