Great looking pair of circa 1870 GOTHIC house corbel brackets with WONDERFUL gingerbread ornamentation.
These were salvaged off a large gothic victorian home in western PA.They have a nice keystone detail that would attach to the bottom of the corbel bracket as it hung from the house. They have a chippy,
chocolate
brown paint.
This is a LARGE set of corbels - studded with old square nails. Selling this PAIR - as IS! Note in the pictures the top of one corbel has a bit of wear/rot. The corbel is still very salvagable - with some work & restoration.
They measure 38.5" long x 19" deep x 7" wide. The keystones are 11.5" long x 6" wide x 3.5" thick.
