As everyone knows shipping costs have escalated. We do our best to keep the charges down and do not pass on the charges for our purchased shipping supplies and we do pay the insurance. I pack very well and often double box. I like to use Priority Mail as the delivery time and tracking is more reliable.
Now that winter is upon us just a bit of precaution is in order. If you have received a glass item please do remember that glass can be quite fragile. If your package has been sitting outside in very low temperatures please do bring indoors as soon as possible but do let it warm up to room temperature before opening. Cold glass easily cracks so it's not a good idea to put it next to a heater or handle it until it has warmed up.
