I have here a
Lot of 12 Vintage COATS & CLARK, J&P COATS and TALON Sewing Thread – 1960s-70s – BRIGHT COLORS
.
I have finally combined my mother’s sewing basket with mine (it’s been nearly a decade!) and I just don’t need all of this (I don’t do much sewing these days!).
They are all bright colors (I have visions of all the Easter dresses my mom bought us over the years!).
I would say they are all from the 1960s and into the 1970s (but some could go back to 1950s perhaps – when did Coats & Clark big spools cost 19 cents and small ones 10 cents!).
Some have more thread left than others, you are BUYING AS IS – SO SEE THE PICS!!

Coats & Clark #239 – deep peach/melon
Coats & Clark #135-C – bright orange

Coats & Clark #122 – baby blue
J&P Coats #97-A – pale purple
J&P Coats #224 – golden harvest
J&P Coats # is pulled off – deep red
Talon #760 – Kelly green
Talon – Lime green
Talon – Lemon yellow (a lot of this thread has been used)
It’s a great lot - great colors, I do hope someone can use them – it’s a shame for them to just sit unused.
