Product Description:
This offering is for one set of new-old-stock Campagnolo Victory shifters with a complete set of original hardware to properly mount these shifters onto down tube shifter bosses. This is a vintage friction-based shifter set that was matched with one of Campy's popular lower level road bike groupsets from the 80's.
As for the levers themselves, they are made from an aluminum alloy and the polish/finishing work is what you would expect from Campagnolo...a nice/clean look. They should also be compatible with a number of different friction-based drivetrains (and we would guess that 5, 6, or 7-speed cassettes/freewheels make the most sense). We've had some folks ask about the compatibility of 8/9-speed drivetrains with down tube shifters and our experience has been there is generally not enough cable pull with down tube shifters to achieve 8/9-speed shifting performance.
We should also mention the cosmetic condition of these lever sets is nice, as each set will come sealed in a Campagnolo branded bag and within this bag, the polished levers are individually wrapped to protect them from getting scratched/scuffed through contact with some of the other hardware pieces. Please also note we did not receive shifter cables or housing with these shifter sets, but we do believe the mounting hardware is complete...in the sense that everything is included to properly install these shifters onto down tube shifter bosses (assuming spacer compatibility...and please refer to the following discussion for more information on this topic).
Down tube mounting discussion...
Upon close inspection of the pictures to the left, please notice these shifters generally pre-date the use of fat spacers/adapters that often accompany index shifters. Instead, these shifters use thinner spacers, which will still allow for clean down tube mounting on most vintage steel frames. In other words, these thinner spacers/adapters are designed to accommodate most shifter bosses (with square-shaped...12 mm x 12 mm base platforms) found on each side of a vintage 28.6 mm steel down tube...resulting in a nice/clean look.

Note to international customers regarding shipping...
We apologize to those that feel some of our international shipping charges are too high. We only charge actual shipping rates, but once an order exceeds a certain amount, we hesitate to use the least expensive US Postal Services First Class International service. We feel this way, because this service is not trackable or insurable...so more risk of loss. We prefer the US Postal Services Priority Mail International service for more expensive orders, because this service is trackable at USPS.com and insurable...so less risk of loss. Unfortunately, this service is more expensive, especially for smaller/lighter packages, relative to the First Class International service. We are sorry about these higher shipping costs, but hopefully our notes help to explain why this is the case.
Note to international customers regarding customs...
We also apologize to those that feel their country import taxes, duties and brokerage fees are excessive. As a small US business, we are required by customs' laws to declare each order as a retail sale. Additionally, the declared order value must be equal to total store purchases and/or winning auction bids (less any shipping costs, as these are not considered in the declared value). As a result, each customer will be responsible for paying his/her own country taxes, duties and brokerage fees, which will be collected upon delivery. Again, we apologize for these additional costs, but we cannot afford the penalties and fines that come with breaking customs' laws...so we have to strictly abide by them.
