"Pictorial History of American Trucks" is Niels Jansen's pictorial survey
of trucking and trucks in America by a one-time trucker who photographed much of what he saw in the 1960s and since.  A fair amount of text describes what he has seen but the emphasis is on the photos with their descriptive captions.  There is a chapter on older (1920s-1930s) trucks for background.  He has included more than 300 photos almost half of them in color.  This 151-page quarto-size hardcover book was first published in 1993 by Uitgevrij Elmar of Holland in Dutch and then this English printing in 1994 by The Red House of England.  The book is in like-new condition with no damage - no dog-eared pages, no markings and no jammed corners
.  The dust jacket is in like-new condition with no damage - no chips, tears or creases and is protected by a mylar cover which caused reflections in the photos of the covers.
