I use this fan everywhere. I take it to football games, the park, out on the front porch, tailgate party. It is an item to have. Pop up a canopy a lounge chair and this fan and it is all good.Oh yeah it works great too. Just get a big 6hr battery.

We purchased this product in hurry due to power outage in our city and so our son wouldn't have to sleep through the heat. What sold us on this product was not the price there were cheaper options available was that it was battery powered and around the same type and size, others we were considering were not battery powered. I already had 2 Ryobi batteries. We opened popped in the battery and turned it on. Pristine airflow propelled from it, super quiet, wind force was amazing. My wife went out and worked on her gardens with the fan its durability against the elements and portability greatly appreciated from the wife. in just owning it for not even 24 hours it has provided much comfort in our home as well as outside.

This is one of the best units that Ryobi has put on the market. It is efficient (several hours on a small 2AH battery) and quiet (you have to see the blades turning or feel the air movement to know that it is on). I use it outside on the patio during these dog days of summer to keep the flying insects at bay and make it more enjoyable to enjoy a cold one at the end of the day.
