  • Condition: Beautiful, set of 4, antique, salvaged pediments or corbels. Removed/salvaged from an antique French settee. The set served as the back supports/corbels from the settee. Hand carved with extraordinary details. Each features two, opposite facing phoenix or griffins. The creatures have the face of a bird with the body of a winged lion and the tails of a serpent. There are additional carved details such as flowers. Very intricately carved. Backs have lightly carved pattern. Very nice, original condition. Each is 13. 7/8 inches tall, 7.5 inches wide and .75 inches deep.
