Very rare fossilized sea urchin from the miocene beds of Austria. Old find, off limits locality nowadays! What is even more special about this specimen - it displays both, positive and negative part. Hard to find, doubt you will see another available from this site. Beautifully prepared in our lab with excellent detail, perfectly displayed shell on a block of matrix. Many hours of skilled work to remove the hard limestone that has encased the fossil for 15 million years. No restoration.
