    Description

    The Lost Colony Roanoke Island NC Hand Colored Framed Print Native Watermarked. Not sure about this one but I believe its a hand colored drawing of one of the natives as portrayed in the live stage play "The Lost Colony" that is put on each year on Roanoke Island in North Carolina. Signed J. Simpson 93. Appears to be professionally framed and measures about 19" x 15.5". Any help identifying this piece is appreciated. Watermarked paper has WP 198 or L98. Paper appears to be handmade.
    Very good condition. Back has some wear. One torn spot of paper and some stains as shown on the back only.
