    Description

This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage 1950s pattern to make doll clothes for your Baby Doll. It was originally made for Sparkle Plenty and her baby Brother Coos. The great thing about Baby or Toddler style doll clothing patterns is that their patterns fit a large variety of dolls. This pattern will fit most dolls with measurements similar to 18" tall such as Dy Dee, Tiny Tears, Betsy Wetsy, Tootles, Kathy, Ruthie, Patsy Ann, etc. I have this pattern available in several size, so be sure you are getting the right one. This auction is for the 18" tall doll.
This pattern makes the Overalls, Jacket, Shirt & Beret hat outfit. A Dress with embroidered Elephants and matching Baby Bonnet and Panties all trimmed in bias tape. Draw string pajamas with pom poms. I include a color printout of the front cover, a black and white copy of the instructions, back cover and the complete pattern. Please email me with any questions that you have.
I have hundreds more doll patterns available, including more clothes for Baby Dolls of all sizes. Click here to see all my Doll Clothing Patterns
The Sparkle Plenty doll was created in 1947 by Ideal. She is a character from the Dick Tracy comic strip and is the baby daughter of B.O. Plenty and Gravel Gertie. Sparkle Plenty was a hugely successful doll in part because of her long yellow hair that could be washed and combed, just like a real little girls hair. She was made through 1951 and came in sizes 14", 16", 18" and 20". I have patterns available for her in all of these sizes. Baby Coos was her little brother and was made during the same time frame and in the same sizes. This pattern was originally created March 4, 1950. The copyright for this pattern has expired and it entered the public domain Jan 1, 1979.
