Here's a men's black wool dinner jacket from the 1930sIt's cut for a man, but small enough for a woman to wear.
Created by " Lord Rochester " for a store in Fort Plain New York , an Erie Canal town
Acquired from a mansion cleanout in Fort Plain.
The union label dates from 1930s
The peaked satin lapels and pagoda shoulder suggest the depression era.

Single button, flap pockets
100% wool, gorgeous suiting
Front panels only are lined, visible seams have Hong Kong finish.
