This listing is for a vintage 1970's men's black polyester two-piece suit.
The suit is made from a soft black polyester in a twill weave. The jacket is has a conservative 70's - almost 60's - cut with medium-width lapels and pocket flaps and two-button front. The front of the jacket has two marbled black synthetic buttons with three per cuff. It is partially lined in a black synthetic fabric and the shoulders are padded. The trousers are also conservative in cut and taper slightly towards the ankles and do not have cuffs. They close at the front via an internal button and tab, metal hook-and-eye closure and synthetic zipper. The waist, crotch and pockets are lined in black cotton or synthetic fabric.
Both pieces are in used - but good - condition, and aside from some glossy look the ankle areas around the ankles from being over-pressed (see photos), the suit does not have any rips, holes, tears, stains, missing or damaged buttons, etc.
The jacket bears the brand, laundering information and 1970's Union labels. Trousers bear laundering information label.
Neither piece appears to be marked for size. Our measurements are as follow:

Sleeves, shoulder seam to end of cuff hem: 24"
Shoulders, seam to seam, across back: 18.5"
Overall length, bottom of collar seam to bottom hem, in back: 31"
Trousers-
Across waist, buttoned and zipped, laid flat: 19"
Front rise: 13.5"
Rear rise: 18.5"
Inseam: 29"
Outseam: 40.5"
Ankle width, laid flat: 9" (18" total around)
