This listing is for a vintage 1970's men's blue-grey striped two-piece suit.
The suit is made from a lightweight striped blue-grey suiting material, the exact composition of which we are unsure, though it seems like it may be a wool/synthetic blend. The jacket is has a conservative 70's cut with medium-width lapels and pocket flaps, low gorge and two-button front. The front of the jacket has two blue marbled synthetic buttons with four per cuff. It is fully lined in a grey patterned synthetic fabric and the shoulders are padded. The trousers are mostly straight-leg in cut and do not appear to flare towards the ankles and do not have cuffs. They close at the front via an internal button and tab, two metal hook-and-eye closures and synthetic zipper. The waist, crotch and pockets are lined in black cotton.
Both pieces are in used - but good - condition. There is some light discoloration to the jacket's lining at the neck inside and the rear pocket button on the trousers is missing, however, aside from this, there were no rips, holes, tears, stains, etc. we could find!
The jacket bears the brand, seller, owner information (which is blank), and 1970's Union labels. No size, laundering or fabric content labels were found.
Neither piece appears to be marked for size. Our measurements are as follow:

Across waist, buttoned and zipped, laid flat: 17.5"

Rear rise: 18"
Inseam: 32"
Outseam: 43.5"
Ankle width, laid flat: 10.5"
