This listing is for a vintage 1970's men's blue & grey wool two-piece suit.
The suit is made from a nice, lightweight blue and grey wool plaid with a very fine pattern. It has an interesting 70's cut with wide lapels, a fitted waist, scalloped pocket flaps, and a two-button front. The front has two dark grey marbled synthetic buttons with three per cuff. It is partially lined in a dark blue synthetic fabric and the shoulders are more stiffened than padded. The trousers are conservative in cut, especially for the period, and are straight-leg in cut and do not flare towards the ankles and do not have cuffs. The waist closes via an internal button and tab, metal hook-and-eye closure and synthetic zipper. The waist, crotch and pockets are all lined in light grey cotton twill.
Overall, the suit is in used - but like new - condition. It does not appear to have any rips, holes, tears, stains, missing or damaged buttons, labels, etc.
The jacket bears the brand, seller, region of origin, 1970's Union, and a the owner information labels, though the latter is left blank. No size or fabric content labels are present.
