Description
This listing is for a vintage 1970's men's brown polyester tuxedo suit. The suit is made from a nice, heavy textured brown polyester with brown satin facing on the collar and pocket openings, as well as having a matching stripe down both legs. The jacket is in a cut typical for 70's tuxedo jackets with wide, peaked lapels, angled slit hip pockets and a single-button front. The front has one brown synthetic button, as well as one per cuff. The jacket is fully-lined in brown synthetic fabric and the shoulders are padded. The trousers are also cut typical for the period with flared ankles. The waist closes with two metal hook-and-eye closures, as well as a synthetic zipper. There are also two metal buckles on the sides of the waist for additional size adjustment.
Overall, the suit is in used - but good - condition. There is a small hole and melted-looking spot on one of the knees (see photo), however, aside from this, there do not appear to be any other rips, holes, tears, stains, missing or damaged buttons, etc.
