This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage 1950s pattern to make doll clothes for your Marcie Doll. In addition to Marcie, this pattern fits other 7-8" tall dolls such as Ginny, Wendy, Muffie, Alexander Kins, and Ginger.
This pattern makes the Floradora Costume consisting of the skirt, blouse, hat and parasol. A Wedding Dress or Bridal Gown, Veil, Wreath and Muff. Little Bo Peep Costume consisting of Dress, Fichu (scarf), Bonnet, Crook and Lamb (made from pipe cleaners.) Roller Skating Costume consisting of the Blouse, Skirt, Vest, Beret and Knitted Scarf. Ice Skating outfit: Blouse, Skirt, Knitted Hood. Petticoat and Panties. In 1950 the Vogue Doll Company started manufacturing an 8" tall hard plastic doll. Her popularity was immense and soon other doll companies came out with their own 8" tall dolls. One of those was the A&H Doll Corporation who made the Marcie dolls. This is the only pattern that was made explicitly for the Marcie doll, but any pattern for the Ginny doll should also fit Marcie.
