Vintage Thread Spool Great Lakes Thread Company Drednaut No. 18 4oz Wooden

Good Day! Up for sale today we have a neat old wooden spool from the Great Lakes Thread Company. It has some thread still wound on the spool, and a large needle attached at one side. There is a paper label on one end of the spool with the Great Lakes Thread Co. name/logo, but this is worn, and partially ripped away. The opposite end of the spool is printed on. It says Trade Mark Drednaut and then No. 18, and Four Ounces. I am not a sewer, and I can't really tell you anything about the spool or thread other than these markings. The thread is I guess a kind of greenish-tan sort of color. Maybe a dark khaki? I'm not really sure what you'd call it. It does have some spots/stains/discolorations on one side of the spool. There is some wear to the wooden edges of the spool, like little dings/gaps/cracks, etc. Please view the photos, as these will, hopefully, give you a good idea about the condition of the spool. The spool is roughly 2" in diameter at the ends, and it is about 2 7/8" tall. Overall, I just thought it had a really nice look to it, with the wear kind of adding to its charm.

We try to ship items as quickly as possible, so if you have any questions or comments regarding shipping, please let us know ASAP. I am off on Fridays and we are closed Sundays, but I will do my best to get your items out same/next day in most cases if I am able to, depending on the time of day the sale ends, of course. Occasionally if the timing is off, it may take one extra day to get the item out, but I will do my best to get it to you quickly.
We are happy to combine shipping costs for you in any case that we are able to. You can either wait for us to send you a combined invoice for your items, or else, if you don't want to wait (I can only pack and weigh items when I'm at work), you can go ahead and pay for your items, and I can reimburse you for the overage paid once I've gotten the items packed and the label printed. I have found that different people prefer these different options, and I don't mind either one. Very large or bulky items may not be able to be combined, just depending on whether or not I can find a box large enough. Smaller items shouldn't be a problem.
