    Description

    Vintage Coats & Clarks smoked glass tray outlining the story of thread.
    About 9x7" with a lip.  Front shows a spool of thread, caveperson sewing a garment with a bone, Egyptians making thread, Colonials, the folks heading westward and a more modern lady sewing on her machine.
    The back side gives more details on the history of thread as well as Coats & Clark's involvement.
    This tray was produced for the 150 anniversary of Coats & Clark in 1962.  Will make a nice little gift for the seamstress in your life.
