    Description

This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage 1930s pattern to make doll clothes for your Boy Doll. I have this pattern available in multiple sizes, so please be sure that you are buying the right one. This auction is for the 17" tall doll and was designed for the antique or Composition dolls of the era. Boy doll patterns are extraordinarily rare and I'm sure this one can be modified to suit your needs.
This pattern makes a large Wardrobe for your male doll: Coat, Shirt, Suit (trousers or pants & jacket #1), Cap, Riding Habit (jacket #2, vest, jodhpurs & scarf), Beret, Pajamas & Robe. I include a color printout of the front cover, a black and white copy of the instructions, back cover and the complete pattern. Please email me with any questions that you have.
I have hundreds more doll patterns available, including more clothes for other antique & composition dolls. Click here to see all my Doll Clothing Patterns
The Charlie McCarthy doll was a composition doll made by the Effanbee Doll Company in the early 1930s. In all times, male dolls have been rare and boy doll patterns are nearly unheard of. This is one of just a very few patterns that I have for boy dolls. It reflects the styles of the late 1930s. This pattern was originally created May 23, 1938. The copyright for this pattern has expired and it entered the public domain January 1, 1967.
